Our first group class was a success! We had much fun making up our own twinkle: ice cream - donkey - elephants! We were challenged by calling out numbers, standing on one foot and playing our chocolate twinkle with a chocolate tone! This quote by Suzuki sums up our goal when it comes to learning the violin and playing with others in group class: “Teaching music is not my main purpose. I want to make good citizens. If children hear fine music from the day of their birth and learn to play it, they develop sensitivity, discipline and endurance. They get a beautiful heart.” ― Shinichi Suzuki Strawberry Blueberry Twinkle while standing on ONE FOOT!P Pepperoni Pizza Twinkle Duet We are playing long bow Twinkle while one student is calling out numbers that we have to yell out while we are playing together!
